Compliance of the Nature Conservation (Scotland) Act 2004 is of utmost importance to us. We are committed to protecting the environment in every aspect of our business activities.

Countryside & rights of way

In compliance with the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 all trees are assessed to ascertain the presence of bat roosts and bird nests prior to any work commencing.

WASTE

All resulting green waste by-products and wood chip are processed to produce compost by local recycling businesses.

All of our logs are processed and sold locally as usable firewood.

MINIMISE POLLUTION

We use biodegradable chain oil in all of our chainsaws to minimise any possible pollution.
